Comment: The most inner ditch has been interpreted by the excavators as a bedding trench of a post circle. Two chronological phases can be recognised: Phase 1: construction of the two inner features resulting in a single ditched monument with an inner post circle. Both features are characterised by a small, intentional, south orientated gap; Phase 2: the two outer ditches were dug and the post circle was probably removed, resulting in a double ditched monument which covered up the older monument
